After graduating from Post University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2012, she decided that teaching and helping others was truly her calling in life. Nicole began interning at Crossfit Oakville in 2014 and later became a full-time coach in 2015 and remained there until 2018. Nicole has gained some incredible knowledge under the programs and guidance of the previous coaches; who have all gone to run successful programs or facilities around the state, and she constantly strives to incorporate all facets of that knowledge in the program design and class execution to help any and all clients who look to her for guidance.

As a former 3 sport athlete in High School, Frank lost touch with competitive sports in college but continued to focus on the health and fitness of himself as well as other when he majored in Exercise Science at Southern Connecticut State University. After graduating in 2011 from SCSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Frank went on to become a Physical Education Teacher and began to seek out ways to keep his students and himself in good, physical condition. Needing the competitive aspect of “sport” back in his life that had been lacking since 2007, Frank found CrossFit in February of 2018 and never looked back. CrossFit has not only filled the void of competitive sports in his life but has also given him the confidence to know he will be able to keep up with his son for a long time to come. Frank started at CrossFit Naugatuck Valley in 2018 and has enjoyed working with the community of athletes who walk through the doors everyday looking to better themselves physically, mentally and emotionally.

Shannon started crossfit in 2016. She was currently working as a NASM certified personal trainer and quickly fell in love with the crossfit methodology. Shannon Coreano is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She holds a Professional Fitness Trainer diploma from Branford Hall Career Institute. She is currently in school and studying Nutrition and Dietetics. Shannon has wide-ranging experience in coaching people of all ages into becoming the healthiest and strongest version of themselves. Shannon’s passion lies in coaching and motivating others to create lifestyle changes through good nutritional habits and exercise.
